Interface design, design systems, iconography and App Store presentation for iOS. Drawn to the platform's own conventions rather than around them.
App development
SwiftUI implementation. We build what we design, so the thing that ships is the thing that was drawn — not an approximation of it.
Web design
Interfaces for the web, built to the same standard as this page: hand-written, dependency-free, and fast on a five-year-old phone.
Specification before pixels.
Specify
Every project starts as a written specification — the model, the screens, and every user-facing string, decided before anything is drawn. Ambiguity is cheapest to remove here.
Model
The logic is built and tested against fixtures on its own, independent of any interface. If the maths is wrong, no amount of design will save it.
Design
Interface, motion and identity, in light and dark as equals. Prototyped in a browser first so decisions can be felt at full speed before a line of Swift is written.
Ship
Implementation, App Store assets, review, and release. The specification is kept true to what shipped, so the next version starts from fact.
Who we are.
Gabe Bud Investments Limited is a product studio. We design and build our own software, and invest in products we believe in.
We work in small scope with long attention: few projects, specified carefully, built by the people who designed them.
